Klimaatverandering zorgt voor lastige vraagstukken. Mensen moeten aangenaam en veilig kunnen blijven werken, wonen en recreëren. Ook als de temperatuur oploopt, de zeespiegel stijgt en er teveel of juist te weinig neerslag valt. De website en het boek geven via cases, lessen en instrumenten mogelijkheden om u daarbij te helpen.

Maakt u gebruik van de KNMI klimaatscenario’s? Wilt u inzicht in de huidige stand van zaken in het proces naar nieuwe klimaatscenario’s in 2013? Wilt u meedenken over presentatie, vorm, vertaling van de scenario’s naar de betekenis per sector?
Voor gebruikers van klimaatinformatie organiseert het KNMI workshops op 14 februari en 8 maart over het proces naar de KNMI next klimaatscenario’s.

Alle resultaten van het Klimaat voor Ruimte programma zijn in een brochure gebundeld. Binnen het programma is onderzoek uitgevoerd naar de kansen en bedreigingen van klimaatverandering voor de Nederlandse samenleving en naar mogelijke adaptatieopties in het ruimtegebruik.

| Workshop Sustainable Earth, presentation mid-term results |
On 14 March the Workshop ‘Integrated Research in NWO Theme Sustainable Earth and National Programme Knowledge for Climate’ will be held. The post-docs within this Sustainable Earth Programme will present their mid-term results.
The workshop will be held in the framework of the Sustainable Earth programme. This programme was initiated by NWO and Knowledge for Climate, and started in 2010 with an end date in 2013. It aims to examine interrelationships between humans and the environment in the broadest sense, on various space- and time scales.

In a special issue of the magazine Climate Law 'Adaptation in Delta Regions' five scientific papers were published. These publications are a direct result of the Deltas in Times of Climate Change conference, held in Rotterdam in 2010.

| International Conference The Governance of Adaptation |
On March 22-23, 2012 a conference will be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on 'The governance of adaptation'. Topics to be discussed include: the framing of adaptation problems and goals, modes of governance and available instruments, agency and leadership in adaptation governance, science-policy interaction and adaptation.
